Do you notice how the smallest spaces can sometimes have the most significant impact?
Last year, I worked with a client who had a small hall closet. While that closet seemed insignificant, decluttering and organizing it improved its functionality. We were shocked at how much stuff we pulled out of it!
Today, take 10 minutes to declutter your hall closet.
Set your time for 10 minutes and remove all items from the closet. If you have a big hall closet or the closet is crammed full, focus on one area, like the hanging rod, the floor, or the shelf/shelves.
Sort through the coats, shoes, accessories, and whatever else is hiding.
Decide what stays and what goes. As always, keep only what you use regularly or love.
Put the items you keep away neatly, throw away broken items, and put things for donation into a bag.
The nice thing about having an organized hallway closet is that it becomes guest-friendly by freeing up space for their belongings, making it easier to find and store seasonal items (like scarves and umbrellas).
That wasn't so hard.
I hope you have a wonderful (and productive) week!
