Productive Environment Blog
This week, my son and I are exploring Florence and Rome—eating, walking, learning, soaking it all in. He was lucky to spend his fall semester in Florence and wanted to show me his favorite city on Earth!” – Florence.
And while we travel, I’ve noticed:
It’s not what I packed that’s helping me feel most present.
It’s what I didn’t pack.
Letting go of “just in case” extras.
Letting go of the guilt of leaving work behind.
Letting go of distractions that pull me out of the moment.
Staying organized before this trip gave me the freedom to live it more fully.
That’s why I do this work—not for the labels or bins, but to make room for such experiences.
What’s something you’ve let go of—physically or mentally—that gave you more freedom to be present?
