Productive Environment Blog
It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. Over the past year, I intentionally reduced my client load so I could focus on one very personal project: clearing out my late father’s home. It was a year-long process, and once the house was finally settled, I needed some time to decompress.
Now I’m slowly stepping back in, both with new projects and here in this community. And as I do, I’m reminded of something I’ve always known but experienced again in a very real way: progress doesn’t come from doing everything all at once. It comes from steady, intentional steps — sometimes as simple as devoting 10 focused minutes.
With the house to myself this weekend, I did what I love most—I started clearing things out. I’ve always found comfort in organizing, but there’s a deeper reason, too. I don’t ever want my boys to have to go through what I went through with my parents’ home. Every time I let something go, it feels like I’m making things a little easier for them and creating a calmer space for us now.
I’m glad to be back here, and I’d love to hear: what’s one small step you’ve taken lately that has lightened your space or your mind?
I help professional women with ADHD reduce overwhelm so they can accomplish their work and enjoy their lives with confidence.
