Productivity Quickstart
An "Organizing Intervention" for Managing Your Time, Space, and Information
The Purpose
The purpose of the Productivity QuickStart™ is to assist you in creating a "Productive Environment" in your office - an "intentional setting" in which everything around you supports who you are, and who you want to be. It includes the same processes and tools used in The 8-Hour Miracle™ but is accomplished in two to four hours of one-on-one time with an individual. We will establish a SYSTEM™ (Saving You Space Time Energy & Money!) which you will be able to maintain long after our work together is over. As a result, you can accomplish your work and enjoy your life! For a company-wide Productive Environment Solution™, every employee in the company would receive this service.
The Process
(This service can be provided onsite or virtually via telephone.)
We will use the Productive Environment Scorecard™ as a benchmark in order to measure the success of our work together. Prior to our session, we will arrange for the set up of your iPEP (interactive Productive Environment Platform).
We will send you a list of the office supplies you will need. You may purchase them, or we will ship them and bill you for them at our cost. We recommend Pendaflex for your hanging file folders.
You are welcome to have an administrative assistant, family member, or friend participate in this process.
We begin the Productivity QuickStart™ by filing the most important papers in your office - the ones you keep on your desk so you won't forget them! This will be a "hands-on" process to create personalized systems for management of your time, space and information based on Productive Environment Principles™ including:
* The Art of Wastebasketry®
* Today's Mail is Tomorrow's Pile
* Clutter is Postponed Decisions®
* The File-Act-Toss System™
Together we will decide which papers you can comfortably toss, and then you will tell us about the papers you want to keep while we enter keywords into iPEP so you, or anyone else, can find anything we file--online and off--with one keyword search! After we have filed the papers on the desk, we will move to the floor. (Isn't that where you put the things on your desk you didn't get to - but are afraid to put away?) Once the desk and floor are clean, we tackle the file drawers, completing as much as possible during our scheduled time together. Note: We can break this process into shorter segments based on your schedule.
The Payoff
At the end of The Productivity QuickStart™, we guarantee three things:
1. You will know what to do with every new piece of paper or information that comes into your office.
2. You (and anyone else in your office) can find anything we filed--online and off--with one keyword search.
3. You will have a Productive Environment Gameplan™ for any papers or files we didn't get converted into the new SYSTEM during our work together.
